Hello!
How are you doing? I hope everything is going well.
Today I’d like to share an idiomatic expression from Mexico: ser muy trucha.
Ser muy trucha means to be clever or sharp, to pay close attention to details, and to do things in the best way possible. It’s a colloquial phrase. The literal translation is “to be very trout”. It can be used with bien instead of muy.
Have you heard this phrase before? Can you think of a sentence where you could use it? Here’s my example:
- Ese portero es bien trucha, no se le va una. (That goalkeeper is really sharp; he doesn’t let a single ball get past him)
See you next time!
